Such a beautiful lady. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. Words fail to describe the greatness of her presence. Much love, peace and joy Aunt Violet!

Kay and family, back in 1952 my father (Frank), mother (Nancy), younger sister (Judy) and I moved into the white house behind Violet and Bob's house. Our house faced the Dr. and Rosa Monroe house and veterinary hospital.
What a wonderful growing-up experience we had with such wonderful and kind neighbors as Violet and Robert Walker. I always loved seeing your mother out and about in the yard tending her beautiful plants (including the gorgeous rose bushes along her back fence). I also remember when we got the "pet" goat named Honeycomb. Within two or three days Honeycomb had climbed the 6-foot side fence and ate one of your mother's beautiful rose bushes down to the ground. You mother, always a kind, soft-spoken, and gracious lady didn't let that "goat incident" affect the camaraderie between our two families and the small neighborhood.
Yesterday at a restaurant I ran into Ruthie Dance who as a child lived in the house on the hill at the side of the veterinarian hospital. Ruthie and I both commented on what a lovely and pretty lady your mother was.
Kay, we're thinking of you and your family. Take care.

Kay and family: we were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Please know that she is in God's hands. The last time we saw her was at your and Mic's wedding. She was a beautiful lady. God bless all of you!
