DEAR FAMILY, MY NAME IS ROBERT LEWIS, I WORK FOR MTN. ENERGY OIL COMPANY..THRU MY JOB IS HOW I MET AB. IT WASNT JUST A FEW MINUTES AT FIRST MEETING TO KNOW THAT I LIKED HIM...HE WASNT HARD TO LIKE AT ALL..EVERY TIME I WENT TO HIS HOUSE HE WOULD GIVE ME 2 JARS OF JAM, HE AND HIS WIFE MADE..IT ALWAYS MADE ME SMILE..WE HAD SEVERAL LONG TALKS ABOUT THE LORD..A TOPIC HE LOVED TO TALK ABOUT AND IT WASNT LONG BEFORE ONE OF US WANTED TO HEAR HIM SING AND MAKE HIS BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. ONE DAY THIS PAST SPRING, AB CALLED ME AND TOLD ME TO COME BY, SAID HE HAD SOMETHING FOR ME. WHEN I GOT THERE HE HAD MADE ME A CD OF HIM PLAYING AND SINGING SOME OF THE MANY SONGS HE HAD WRITTEN OVER THE YEARS. I FEEL LIKE THAT CD OF MY DEAR FRIEND, AB IS PART OF THE HISTORY OF AB'S LIFE. OF WHICH I AM SO HONORED TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF. I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW THIS AND TO SAY..MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL...ROBERT LEWIS

Linda, Bert, Pam, Natalie, Harvey and all the family: our prayers and sympathy are with you all during your earthly loss of a wonderful man!!I have so many great memories of Ab from my childhood on. Most of us could write a book of memories on him. I always loved his singing, preaching, piano playing (my greatest memory of a song is "I'm working on a building". No one else could ever sing it like he could. All the weekends you and Ab stayed with Bud and I back in 68 and '69. We would go to Nabers and he ALWAYS got a ham sandwich. I remember when he and Lelon both started preaching about the same time and it's great they have both continued to preach God's word. So Heaven has welcomed another great "Man of God" to join Uncle Henry and all the others who loved and supported him. I know Bert will continue in his Dad's footsteps and hopefully "Little Harvey" will grow up to be the same. We are here if you need us!! We love all of you!
Love and prayers,
Bud and Carolyn
