Bill, Brenda, Peggy and families my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dot was a super lady with whom I only really got to know in the last few years while working on genealogy, she was a wealth of information on the Byrd family and it was a proud moment when I discovered we are related through my G-Great Grandmother Lily Candora Byrd Burnett. To the Whole Family; So many GREAT memories growing up, since you all were a bit older than I was, BUT your family has ment so much to me and my family. Always know that you all are in our thoughts and Prayers. Your Dad impressed my life so much, always took me fishing and shared so much with me, Your Mom always picked me up at the store (Lauada Gro.) and took me to school even though it wouldn't have been far to walk. Dear Brenda, Peggy & Bill, My heart is heavy with the news of your mothers passing. I had grown so fond of her and our visits. She was an amazing lady and had many, many stories to share. I loved hearing all of the stories about the house, such a piece of family that is so special. Thank you for sharing your mother with me, as I miss mine so very much. She was a grand lady. Grandma Stillwell always made me feel at home when I visited North Carolina, between games of 'set-back' and some of the best food harvested from a garden, she will always be a strong and amazing grandma.
