Obituary of Leahman Coday Jr.

On May 28th, 2024, Leahman Coday Jr. left this world far too soon but with a life well lived and loved by many in his 68 years. He was the son of the late Leahman Sr. and Vernell Brooks Coday. He leaves behind his wife Lisa, son Adam (Kerry), daughter Morgan (Daniel), siblings Mary and Phillip, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws that he loved dearly. Leahman will be missed by all his friends but especially his father-in-law Durward and his many brothers by choice. If ever a man was born in the wrong century, it was Leahman Jr. He lived a life of olden days, an overall wearing mountain man with a booming voice and a heart of gold. A man you didn’t want to cross but also a man you could always call if you needed any help. He worked the Alaskan Pipeline and found gold in those hills. He was a hard rock miner, a bear wrestler, a Harley riding hell-raiser and a horse loving cowboy with rosy cheeks and sparkling blue eyes. He loved to relive adventures and rock little babies. He loved animals, heavy equipment, clocks, cooking, collecting and working in the garden with Lisa. Leahman lived life his own way and at his own pace. Just mention his name and someone will have a story to tell. Our hearts are broken, our memories are many and heaven got one hell of a man. No services are scheduled per his request.
