Obituary of Wayne Euestes Shuler

Greenville, S.C. Dateline Wayne E. Shuler, 69, of Piedmont S.C., went home to be with the Lord, Monday, December 31st, 2012 in a Greenville, S.C. Hospital. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Lawson and Hyacienth Huffsettler Shuler. He was the owner and operator of Hwy 20 Market in Piedmont. He was preceded in death by one brother; Talmadge Shuler; three sisters, Wanda Lee Shuler, Moeina Welch and Elithia Roseman. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Charlotte Shuler; four children, Marsha Sadler and husband Shawn of Cal., Heavenly Doolittle and husband Lee of Belton, S.C., Lemuel Wayne Shuler and wife Stacie of Belton, S.C., and Holly Eaton and husband David of Williamston, S.C.; 11 Grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy and Blondina Shuler both of Bryson City, and four brothers, Tommy, Vaughn, and L.D. Shuler all of Bryson City and Wade Shuler of Mt. Holly, NC. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Matt Shuler will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 3:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
