To The Family of Wayne Shuler
We were so upset to learn of the death of Wayne.
He became one of our closest friends when we stopped by to buy vegetables and found out that we grew up in the same part of North Carolina.
It brightened our day to stop by to buy our vegetables and talk to Wayne, Candy and other people who gathered in the store.
Wayne Shuler is going to be missed by many people and certainly by Jim and Ann Plott.

To the family of Wayne:
We send our deepest sorrow on his death.
Thank you for sharing him with us for the past few years.
We bought all of our vegetables from him and sometimes stopped just to visit and talk with him about growing up in Western North Carolina and we always laughed a lot.
We were so happy to find that we had something in common with our neighbor just down the road as we are from Haywood County. When you asked him if he had Half Runner Green Beans or Greasy Back Beans, he knew what you wanted and other people didn't.
When Wayne wasn't there, Candy was always there to help us and was a lot of fun and knowledgeable. She loved her Grandfather so much and he loved her as well.
Please know that many people loved Wayne and will miss him.

My deepest sympathy to Charlotte and the family. I have fond memories of Wayne from my childhood and going back to Bryson City in the summers to visit our Grandma Delia Shuler. He stayed with my parents Berlin and Ida Shuler when he moved to Michigan in 1966 and became like a son to them. He could light up a room with his smile and had many friends. He was a dedicated husband and father and he will live in your hearts and minds forever.
