Steve was one of a kind. He bravely and courageously faced the unthinkable with unparalleled positivity.
He was always quick with a one-liner, joke, or a pun that didn’t always quite land but still managed to do it with hilarity.
The man loved food and I’ll miss hearing him say that same old line that everything tastes like Christmas. It’s the little things! Miss you! Love, Mike

We have only known Steve and Karen a short time, but it didn't take long to realize they both are such wonderful souls and beautiful neighbors!! We are so saddened by this great loss; Heaven definitely gained an angel when Steve went home!!
Such a pleasant gentleman, always asking how we were and worrying about Karen; that she would be ok!! Brave and kind man, and fellow dog lover!! When our pup was so sick he asked how we and our pup was no matter what he was going through!! He and Karen made sure those sweet pups of theirs got their daily ride down the mountain to see the goats, chickens, cows, and horses, no matter what or how he felt!!
As a nurse I observed his bravery that only few possess, and faith in God!! Amazing !! To be so strong no matter what he was facing and always praising God for His goodness!! We will truly miss you our neighbor; Karen we are here for you when you need us & so very sorry for your loss!!
RIP dear neighbor,
Much Love,
Alan & Donna Park

What can I say? I am heartbroken. He was the best of us all! Always there to comfort and support me. He always had us laughing about something. So strong and brave through his cancer. He so loved his wife Karen and his puppies and they were right there with him at the end. She was an amazing caregiver to our brother. I will miss you so! WTH!

My dear, sweet brother Steve...we were so close growing up. We used to say we were partners in crime. He will be missed and he still had that comical expression on his face even in darkest times. He was a fantastic brother and loved by so many! I love you so much brother Steve!

Steve was the best brother a sister could ever ask for. I knew he was there for me if I needed him. He had the most wonderful sense of humor and brought joy to everyone he met. He was a kind, thoughtful, and gentle man. He dealt with his illness with such bravery and grace, and I admired him so much and always will. Words could never express the grief of losing him and how very much I will miss him. Go rest high on that mountain, my precious brother.
