Gage Parris had numerous challenges during his all too shortened life that would have consumed most young people into the many evils of this world. This young man seemed to truly "make lemonade from lemons". Gage transformed adversities life dealt him into a sort of fuel that supercharged his ingenuity and intellect. This young man sought to make his own way, and I respect that to the utmost! I have been told that Gage seemed to look to me like a second dad. I hope he knew that he was like a third son to my family.....never told him in those words, but I believe he knew in his heart, and that's what matters! Love you, Gage!

I taught Gage at Grace Christian Academy where us mother and father taught as well. He was so kind loving well behaved and I loved Andy Parris because I love his beautiful family his sons daughter and parents. Especially Ronnie Parris my heart is with ALL OF YOU. WE do not know the answers but one day we will. My heart is broken and I pray for Samantha and all of you people I call family.

Gage did not know me, but I know him and he will forever be burned into my memory. God placed me at that location at that time and allowed me to pray for Gage in his final seconds. May God bless him and may God bless those that have to carry on.

We remember Gage as a friend of our son Joey. In years past Gage would hangout at our house.Sometimes he would eat with us and sometimes he would stop by the food truck when I’d be making fried pies he and Joey always tried to get me to make a Mac and cheese fried pie they thought that would be the bomb.We will forever miss his happy sweet face.God comfort his family and all that knew and loved him.
