Diane & family,
I am so sorry for your loss and I'm not going to pretend I have words to say on how you feel because I don't all I can do is send prayers of comfort and peace to you all to a loving father who knows exactly how your heart is aching and the emptiness you feel. May God comfort you and supply understanding.
Love,
Ada

Amy, you were such a dear friend to me. I have so many precious memories with you. You were beautiful inside and out! Years of Tap N Toes dance classes, our duet, we were two peas in a pod, I would not have survived middle school without you, playing in the mud at the ponds, throwing mud at each other, hating our high waters, being so excited we were finally growing up, fussing and fighting, forgiving each other like nothing happened, being the only two girls in auto mechanics in high school, sleepovers, making up church songs together, Papas’s pizza, dreaming big dreams, singing to each other, driving around in my old truck, drivers ed, hours and hours of talking on the phone, so much laughing and cutting up. You were the kind of friend that even after years of not seeing each other we could pick right back up where we left off. The last time I talked to you I told you how proud of you I was. My heart aches for your little boy and the family you leave behind. There is comfort in knowing you are not suffering anymore but I wish I could have hugged your neck one last time! Love you Amy. I have no doubt that I will be seeing you again!!! Many prayers for your family. Diane, Robbie, Perky, Aaron, Amy was dearly loved and will be missed by so many. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers. Till we meet again, dear friend. ❤️

Amy, I know we weren't close, but I always watched you from a distance. Never had a reason not to like you. We went to school together and you were always one of the girls I admired as a person. I used to hang out with Kristen in middle School and seen how close you two were. She was lucky to have a cousin like you. You were always nice. I knew your family, especially your brother Perky, because he drove the church van for Mt Vernon. I always asked about you and your family. I remember coming to your house between church a time or two. You were always nice and welcoming, just like your mom. I have to say, it's hard knowing your gone. Your only my age. Life just isn't fair sometimes. But thank God for his loving promise for a better life. You get to enjoy it before many of us do. But you deserve it. I've followed your mom's posts about your struggles and your sickness. Your body was tired and God knew it was time for you to rest. I hope heaven is all we've imagined and more! No more pain or sickness there and no more sorrows to bare. Keep smiling. We'll all be home one sweet day!
Diane, Robbie, Perky, Aaron and the rest of the extended family, you all have my deepest prayers. Love to you all.

Amy, I don't even know where to begin. My heart hurts. The very first day that you came walking into my classroom, as a scared little freshman, I knew you were a special girl. Your smile radiated and filled the room. Your sweet little voice was music...so positive and uplifting and scared. I took you under my wing, encouraged you to learn and to grow, watched as you built confidence in yourself, and picked you up when you were down. Many, many times I drove you home after school because you had no ride....listened to you as you spilled out what was bothering you...encouraged you and challenged you to be all you could be. I was honored and privileged to have you as a student all 4 years in High School, watching you grow and become independent, depending on you many times to help me with students who needed help in understanding concepts, grading papers....you were my peer helper one year!!! Best Peer Helper EVER....I had it written up in the Smoky Mountain Times, I was so proud of you!!!! We stayed in contact after your graduation...through thick and thin...through trouble, tribulation and triumph....through the years. I am going to miss my baby girl, but, God is great...you are suffering no more. I love you, sweet Amy, and will always have a special place in my heart for you. Fly high, sweet girl. You are my special angel.
