My dear old uncle, Oliver. He was a unique soul with a sense of humor, can-do attitude and an artistic personality. Until I was in my teens he always, without fail upon greeting, would pull my nose and shout: "Pinocchio!" I think that he was the first person that I'd ever meet who had a poem of his set to music and recorded to LP. I even remember the name of the song: "Mountain Roads." I hope he kept writing poetry. So I'll raise a glass in toast to Oliver this weekend and with that everyone: Always remember to forget, the things that made you sad - but never forget to remember the things that made you glad. Rest in peace, Oliver!

Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about him and bring him back again. John 5:28, 29 gives this assurance.

Claire & family ,
I have nothing but fond memories of Ollie. Ollie was one of the most Godly, humble servants of the Lord I was blessed to know. He made such an impact on my husbands life when he met him when he officiated Uncle Charlie's funeral. We will grieve our loss because we are human but oh my I cant help but rejoice at what hes gained.
