I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Turner. I was friends with Jimmy during high school in 1973 (I went to Mountain View) and spend a great deal of time with Nora after graduation and before I moved to Chicago. She was a lovely woman and I am sure you will miss her very much. My belated condolences to the family. I would like to hear from you, Jimmy, if you read this. I am now in Florida.

I am very sorry for your loss. I have such great memories of Ms Turner. She was my first grade teacher at Mountain View School in 1957-58. Carol Marcus and I, Sheilah Allen have always loved Ms Turner. She was the first to line up the entire class and paddle us. Haha... Carol and I at the age of six became life long friends that year and I remember laughing out loud until we were set outside the classroom. These are all fond memories and things we can tell our grandchildren. We have a love and respect for Ms Turner that will go on throughout eternity. Thank you for being there for us and for teaching us much more than our ABC's and numbers. We love you and our memories of you and will see you in heaven someday.

The World has lost a very kind, gentle and loving Lady. She has been the most excellent Grandmother to my sons Julian and Jake. She loved her family unconditionally. I have always been thankful for the patience she had with me when I was a very young mother and wife. She taught me many things that have carried me through my life. I have always loved her and been appreciative of my time I had with her. I know she is in heaven now watching over those she loved.....
