Obituary of Maggie Lee Warren

Maggie Warren, 86, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 3, 2017. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Bob and Vishia Huskey McGaha, and wife of the late Clifford H. Warren. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by one son Robert Clifton Warren. Maggie served as the Register of Deeds for Swain County for 28 years and was a lifelong Democrat. Her proudest accomplishment was serving as the Veterans Service Officer for Swain County for several years. She is survived by two sons, Timothy C. Warren and former spouse Christine of Bryson City, and John Warren and wife Anna of Franklin, and one grandson Austin Warren of Bryson City. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Revs. Perry Cole and Earl Holden will officiate with burial in Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holly Springs Cemetery Fund at 10 Ledford Road Bryson City, NC 28713.
