My heart aches for you in the loss of your mother. Swain County has lost a wonderful, very special lady, and great public servant. Maggie was a goog friend, whose laughter and wit I always enjoyed and will forever remember. God bless and keep you and grant you His peace.

What a beautiful picture of Maggie. Maggie was indeed a special lady, always with a smile and her unforgettable laugh. In the summer of 1968, fresh out of Swain High, I worked at the courthouse and Maggie was my boss - more than that she became a forever friend. You all took such good care of her. Two years ago when I saw her last she was bragging on all of you. Now, I am sure she is watching and smiling as only she could. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember Maggie from my childhood and beyond. My granny Bea and granny Anne talked of Maggie all the time and were very proud of who she was and her accomplishments. May she find peace with them today.

RIP Maggie Warren. My sympathies to your family.
In August, 1965 I started working for then Attorney Robert Leatherwood, and the first thing in teaching me the legal ropes, was going to the Swain County Courthouse to the Register of Deeds and there he introduced me to you !!
I was at the Register of Deeds often over the next few years and you were always so nice and helpful with whatever I needed. Thanks Maggie Warren for your help...you did your job well !!
