Lyle Edwards, born January 27, 1934 to the late Cora Lee Bowers and Marion Edwards went home to his Lord and Savior on August 25, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Gwen Thomas and Betty Jean Earls and his son, Billy Edwards; and his stepfather, Bobby Bowers; three brothers, Bill E., Nelson J., Keith B. and one sister, Alda M.
He is survived by his brother, Arvile Bowers; and two sisters, Helen Woodard (Wade) and Judith Parris (Eual Ray).
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Clayton Davis and Ed Kilgore will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 am Saturday at the funeral home.
