Michael "Mike" George Slavish of 1610 Needmore Rd passed away 6/23/2016 quietly in his sleep. Mike most recently was a chef at Highlands Country Club where a memorial service will be held in his honor on Monday 7/11 at 6:00 PM. He was previously employed at The Grove Park Inn, Western Carolina University, and NOC. He was from Myrtle Beach SC but followed his love for the mountains first to Asheville then to Bryson City 23 years ago. He will be dearly missed in both locations. Mike is survived by his brother Thomas M Slavish of Myrtle Beach SC and his Mother Phyllis E Slavish of Anderson Oaks Assisted Living in Conway SC.
