Uncle Joe, mom and dad went to a concert on Friday and got to hear Farewell Party. Mom even got to tell Mr. Watson about you wearing your hair like his at one point. I so wish you had been able to go with them.
We miss you more than words and love you soooooo much ❤️❤️❤️

Uncle Joe, we miss you so much! Mom called me this morning crying while listening to "Farewell Party". Easter is the day we laid you to rest and it is so hard every year. You are a very special man and loved beyond words. Love and miss you !!

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, it makes me think of my Uncle Joe. My mom, Nora Lee, has always had a special bond with her brother, Joe. He looked after her and made her feel special knowing that she was loved so much by him. She has struggled so much with his passing, knowing that here on earth she would not be able to share good times and the times that she needed his advice. He had a way of always making us laugh no matter what was going on. We will always have a hole in our heart, but thankful he will be with Jesus for eternity. We love and miss you, Uncle Joe! Sadly missed by Nora Lee, Tara J., and the entire family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time. I spoke with Joe on the phone recently and he really wanted a picture of "Mam" (Grandma Woodard). He was so family oriented and told me about his family. I know he will be missed as all our loved ones are but he is with his parents and grands now and will have a better idea of Mam than any photo can give. My love and prayers to all of you today and in the days to follow.
