R L Wiggins, 96, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 10, 2016. A Native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Will and Marie Wiggins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers; Arnold, Euester, and Carell Wiggins; and one sister Velva Phillips.
R L is survived by two sons; James Lee Wiggins and wife Lisa, and Ricky Wiggins; two daughters Sandra Wiggins and husband Kenneth Cagle, and Susan Rogers and husband Charles; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, one brother Will Wiggins Jr. and wife Nancy, and one sister Mae Clemmer.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday April 22, 2016 at Jenkins Cemetery.
