Obituary of McKinley Lee Jenkins

McKinley (Kenny) Jenkins, 63, of the Lands Creek community went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 1, 2016. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Helen Hurley Jenkins of Bryson City and the late Robert McKinley Jenkins.
Kenny was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a very passionate farmer.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his soul mate, Regina Rogers of Andrews, NC; one son, McKinley Jenkins and wife Chelsea of Bryson City; three granddaughters, Addisyn, Jade and Ty Jenkins; two sisters, Gail Anthony of Bryson City, Heidi Estes and husband Carroll of Whittier; two brothers, Mitchell Jenkins and wife Mary of Whittier, Jody Jenkins and wife Rose of Bryson City; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
