Obituary of Patty Jo Rogers

Patty Jo Faulkner Rogers, 46, of Bryson City went home to be with her family after an extended illness Thursday, February 25, 2016. A native of Valdosta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Billie Mae Parker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Floyd and Timothy Faulkner.
She is survived by her two children, Summer Marie Rogers, and David Mark Floyd Rogers; one brother, Ray Faulkner Jr., and two sisters, Sarah Curry, and Cora Inez Green.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Rev. David Watkins will officiate with burial in the Birdtown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Sunday at the Church.
