Nancy Wiggins Cloer, 87, of Bryson City passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016. Born August 22, 1928 in Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Dessie and Llewellyn Moody. She worked for the Asheville Citizen Times for 25 years and Newfound Lodge for 26 years. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Shepard; a son, Ronnie Wiggins; a husband, Fred Cloer and Leroy Wiggins to whom she was married for 30 years; two sisters, Pauline Hooper of Chattanooga, Mary Muse of Detroit, MI; and a brother, Jay Moody of Robbinsville. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Gunter (Rod), Helan Cunningham, Linda Seals (Tom), and Jonnie Mason (Wayne); 13 grandchildren Cerissa Jaimez (Adam), Ashley Ashe (Andy), Allyson Gunter, Robin Warren, David Warren, Bo Warren (Mechelle) Penny Cody (Chad), Jamie Wiggins (Dayana), Chris Wiggins, Regina Phillips (Billy), Kelly Allred (Steven), Emily Jones (Steve), and Leanna Arch (Jamie); plus 29 great grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
