Faye Bowers Palmer, 51, of the Qualla Community, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday February 2, 2016. A native of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Reva Bowers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother David Bowers.
She is survived by one son, Judd Palmer of the home; two sisters, Polly Meek and husband Tom of Stockbridge, GA and Mitzie Bowers of Whittier, NC; two brothers Paul Bowers and wife Michelle of Sylva, NC and James Bowers of Whittier, NC; seven nieces and nephews; two great nephews; and numerus friends.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Eddie Stillwell will officiate.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
