Obituary of Clifford Lee DeHart

Clifford Lee DeHart, 70, of the Bryson Branch Community went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 24, 2015. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Bertha Rickman DeHart. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger DeHart (passed away 9-22-2006), and Raymond DeHart (passed away 10-25-2015). He is survived by his sister Dot Cordell and husband Larry Cordell of Candler, niece Sara Weaver and husband Michael of Monroe, GA, and loyal Cat Rambo. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Bryson City. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Interment will be at Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. The family will be at Clifford's home at 27 Jordan Rd. on Sunday before and after the service. At Mr. DeHart's request, memorials may be made to Sawmill Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 170 Sawmill Hill Rd., Bryson City, NC 28713.
