Gladys Crisp Woody, 95, of the Galbreath Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Rob and Mamie Shook Crisp and wife of the late Cas Woody. She attended Deep Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Inas and Agnes Crisp and two brothers Olen and Otis Crisp.
She is survived by one son, Scott Woody of Bryson City; one granddaughter Jamie Woody of Bryson City; one sister Glenith Brooks and husband Bill of Smyrna, GA; one niece, Karen and three nephews, Greg, Barry, and Brian.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Swain Memorial Park. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home.
