Obituary of Sheila Estep

Bryson City Dateline: Sheila Cochran Estep, 49, of the Brush Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her residence. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Z.V. and Hila Brendle Cochran. She had been a Veterinarian's Assistant for 13 years at Cherokee Animal Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 31 years Randy Estep; one daughter, Amy Estep Robertson and husband Heath of Bryson City; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Lily; one brother, James Cochran and wife Kathryn of Bryson City and two nephews, Michael and Daniel Cochran of Bryson City. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Brush Creek Baptist Church of which she was a member. Revs. Bobby Cloer, Jim Cochran, and Tim Barker will officiate with burial in the Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 PM Monday at Crisp Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the Church 30 mins prior to the service.
