Obituary of Connie DeHart

Connie Lackey DeHart, 65, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord and her family on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Mamie Lackey.
She is survived by two sons Tommy Huskey and wife Ona, and Kenny DeHart, and one brother Don Lackey and wife Joan all of Bryson City; four grandchildren Tyler, and Trent Huskey, and K.J. and Ariel DeHart; several nieces and nephews; and a special cousin Joelle Kinsey of Hiawassee GA.
She was a loving mother and nanny. Her two sons and four grandchildren where her pride and joy. Life was a constant struggle for her but she always put her children first.
She fought a hard battle and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Cogdill will officiate with burial at Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
