Obituary of Timothy Lane Hill

Timothy (Shittyboy) Hill, 35, of the Big Cove Community passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 9, 2015. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of Sandra Faye Hill of Cherokee and the late Nicodemus Bird. He was a member of Straight Fork Baptist Church and a member of the Big Cove Stickball Team. He was a coach and brother of the Ko-la-nv-yi Indian Ball Team.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse Hill Sr., William and Leona Bird; and his great grandmother, Rachel Watty.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Cyrus; two brothers, Dean Hill and Pat Hill; two sisters, Lena Driver and husband Bill Driver, Joni Hill and fiancée Chris Ledford; special companion, Donna Armachain; six nephews, and four nieces, all of Cherokee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Straight Fork Baptist Church. Revs. Charles Ray Ball and James (Bo) Parris will officiate with burial in the Hill Family Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church at 5:00 pm Saturday by Crisp Funeral Home to await the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be his friends and family.
