Obituary of William Earle Brintnall

William Earle Brintnall, Jr. Bryson City, NC William Earle (Bill) Brintnall, Jr., 52, died Sunday, May 17, 2015, after a lengthy illness. At the time of his death Bill was surround by his loved ones. Upon high school graduation Bill joined the military where he proudly served six years in the US Navy. He then entered North Carolina State University, earned a degree in electrical engineering and had a career in the wireless telecommunication industry. Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucille and Phillip Brintnall and Lexie and Ray Wright. He is survived by his longtime partner Beth Higdon and her children Jessica and Lyndon. He also is survived by his mother, Janis Wright; father, Willia Earle Brintnall, Sr.; sister Ann Brintnall Dean (Robert) and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bill took special pleasure in his rescue dog Cecil. The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, May 20th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Crisp Funeral Home. Otherwise, the family will be at the home of Janis Wright. The funeral service, with Cn. Rusty Marts officiating, will be held Thursday, May 21st, at 2:00 PM, at the Bryson City Presbyterian Church. A military graveside service will be held immediately following the funeral at the old cemetery on School House Hill in Bryson City. Pallbearers will be RD Allyson, Chris Archer, Zeb Crisp, Clifton Dodfiel, Travis Hayes, and Cabe Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Gilbert Wright and Donald Davidson.
