Everett Wilmot, 99, passed away, Monday May 4, 2015 in a Jackson County Hospital.
Everett was born in Bourbon, Indiana and lived in Akron-Cleveland area for over 60 years. Everett has lived in Bryson City, NC for the past 2 years after spending the previous 35 years in Atlanta Georgia. He served his country for three and a half years as part of the Army Air Corp and was engaged in the North African, Italian, and French WWII Theaters. Everett was employed by Sun Corporation in Barberton Ohio for many years and retired as their Vice-President of Finance in 1962.
He is survived by his two sons Robert of Tifton and Thomas of Bryson City; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at 5:30 PM Friday May 8, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryson City, NC.
