Obituary of Paul Temple Butler
Almond NC Dateline:
Paul Temple Butler, 60, of the Almond Community passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at his residence. A native of Orlando FL, he was the son of the late Donald and Vivian Butler. He was a retired Lieutenant Commander with the U.S. Coast Guard. He was an Elder at the Bryson City Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his sister Sandra MacAllaster and brother Ben Butler.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Butler; one son Lt.J.G. Paul Butler of the U.S. Navy Reserve; one sister, Mary Ann Butler; nephew Donald MacAllaster and wife Valerie; great nephews, Dylan and Ethan MacAllaster; and nieces, Marjorie Newberg and Sarah Butler.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Bryson City Presbyterian Church. Rev. Terry Hanna will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Crisp Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the Church 30 Min. prior to the service.
