Obituary of James Paul Hampton

James Paul Hampton, age 78, passed away February 27, 2015. He was born March 6, 1936 in the Needmore Community. He was the son of the late James Doyle and Mellie Bates Hampton. He is survived by a son, Roger Wiggins; one brother, William James Hampton; one sister, Georgia L Hampton Sutton; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a jack of all trades: a logger, a furniture maker and repairman, a mechanic and outdoorsman. He loved farming and coon hunting and trout fishing with his son. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all of them. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald McGaha will officiate with burial in the Tellico Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
