Obituary of Elizabeth Eileen Ollis

Eileen Monteith Ollis, 72, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in a Buncombe County Hospital. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Odell and Effie Caughron Monteith and wife of the late Charles Richard Ollis. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was the owner of The Hair Villa for over 40 years, where she made many lifelong friends. She is survived by her daughter, Megan Smoker of Bryson City; two grandchildren, Airowen and Baylen Smoker of Bryson City; four sisters, Estalee Shuler of Shannon, GA, Edna Odier and husband Robert of Whittier, Eunice Pittman and husband Eddie of Whittier, and EvaNell Fisher and husband Cecil of Whittier, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Tony Cochran and Lowell York will officiate with burial in the Lauada Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
