Obituary of Sarah Katherine Bernhisel

Sarah T. Bernhisel, 53, of the Wolftown community went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at her residence. A native of Cherokee, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Katherine Armachain Taylor. She was a member of the Cherokee Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bernhisel; two brothers, Howard Sr. and Jerry Taylor; and two sisters, Hinah and Flora Taylor.
She is survived by her half-brother, Ricky Jo Taylor; eight nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews; one great great neice; one great great nephew; two step daughters, Shaina and Danita Bernhisel; and a special adopted nephew, Bill Standingdeer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at the Cherokee Pentecostal Holiness Church. Revs. Donald Ensley and Dan Conseen will officiate with burial in the Taylor Family Cemetery.
Sarah will be taken to the church at 3:00 pm Thursday by Crisp Funeral Home to await the hour of service.
