Obituary of Thelma Rose

Thelma (Grace) Rose, 87, formerly of Graham County went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 31, 2011 in a Swain County health care facility. A native of Clay County, she had been a resident of Swain County for many years. She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Eula Mae Calhoun. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Theresa Calhoun and Brenda Sprott. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Milsap and wife Joyce of Nashville, TN, Bill Crisp and wife Karen of Gastonia; three grandchildren, Pamela Wilson of Gastonia, Mellissa E. Wooten of Hendersonville, Todd Milsap of Tennessee; one great grandchild, Heather Thomas; one great great grandchild, Brendynn Adams; and a son-in-law, Robert Sprott of Kings Mountain, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Jim Frady and Linda Wike will officiate with burial in Brendle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
