Linda Jenkins Hall posted a condolence
Saturday, January 30, 2010
Hi. My name is Linda. I am writing from Charlotte, N.C. I grew up in Paw Creek, and I went to Paw Creek Elementary, and Coulwood Jr. High 1969 to 1972 with Butch. I do not remember going to West Meck with him fom 73-75. I do remember riding the bus with him and sometimes we would ride bikes together around Paw Creek School. He used to make me laugh, and yes he did pick on me. But I could hold my own with him!! I often wondered what happened to him.
I receive the Smoky Mtn. Times and this is how I found out about his passing. I never knew he was a resident of Bryson City. My entire family is from Bryson, but most transplanted to Charlotte/Paw Creek Area. I still live in Paw Creek and visit Bryson when I can. I intend on retiring to Bryson. It is a very small world.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of sorrow. May God be there to help you during these sad times. I will always remember Butch making me laugh as a kid. It is just sad that I never saw him after our childhood. And he was so close by everytime I visited Bryson City/Alarka.and never knew it.
Again, may God be with you in your sorrow. Your family will be in our prayers. Have a blessed day.
Sincerely,
The Hall Family
