Bryson City Dateline William Nathaniel (Nat) Cline, 73, of the Galbreath Creek Community went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 23, 2011 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Pegg Cline. He was a past member of the Swain County School Board and drove an oil truck for Almond Oil and later, Morgan Oil for many years. Nat was also a volunteer fireman for Bryson City Fire Department. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Cline. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Freda S. Cline; three daughters, Debi Hyatt and husband Jeff of Bryson City, Renee` Ledford and husband Randy of Asheville, NC, Natalie Driver and husband Tommy of Bryson City; seven grandchildren, Heath Hyatt and wife Stacy, Alex Ledford, Colby Hyatt, Megan Ledford, Shelby Hyatt, Conner Driver, Elle Driver; two sisters, Hazel Sawyer of Bryson City, Katherine Styles of Asheville; two brothers, Charles Cline of Bryson City, and Kenneth Cline of Columbia, SC. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Burns will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
