Hazel Jenkins Jones Cabe, 84, of the Robinson Gap Community, went home Wednesday April 13th, 2011 at her residence. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Cooper Jenkins. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Edward F. Jones, and William H. Cabe, and one son Russell Hugh Jones.
She is survived by one son Roger W. Jones of Bryson City, two daughters, Virginia Chastain and husband Odell of Bryson City, and Judy Cooke and husband Gary of Franklin, NC, three sisters, Pauline Carson of Brevard, Gladys Harwell of Charlotte, and Betty Jo White of Houston, TX, one brother Robert Jenkins of Bryson City, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Stillwell will officiate with burial in DeHart Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
