Roger D. Oldfield, 66, of Bryson City died Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from Mueller Company in Decatur, ILL. He loved fishing and NASCAR. He was a former resident of Decatur.
He is survived by his fiancé, Pamella Horn of Bryson City.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Deep Creek Pavilion.
He will be greatly missed.
