Joyce and Iris,
We send our deepest sympathy to you and your families.
We have been owners in KenMar since 1983 and had the pleasure of knowing Calvin over 26 years. We knew when we would return back to Florida after spending time at our place on Sanibel Drive that it would be safe and cared for.....and it was thanks to Calvin. John held a special place in his heart for him and enjoyed many hours of "guy talk" over the years. We will miss him.

Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Cal's Family and Friends.
It was our Privilege and Honor to know Cal and call him our Friend.
He was such a Kind and Special person. Our lives have been enriched by knowing him. He was such a Genuine person. He was always there to help. He would always have something clever to say and make you smile and laugh.
I have a cute story: Our first year at Ken Mar, Cal came to tell us the "taters" were ready. Being a city girl, I asked him where they were. Every year thereafter, Cal would tell me to get my ladder, because the taters were ready.
We have so many precious memories of Cal (or "Mr. Cal") as the grandchildren always called him.
We will miss you dearly "Mr. Cal"
May you rest in peace with Boomer & Lucy
God Bless You!

We are so sorry for your loss. We could always depend on him. I enjoyed talking to Calvin and talking bees. As a fellow beekeeper, it is an old tradition that someone tell the bees of Calvin's passing.

Calvin listened much more than he talked. And he had a big heart. We only knew Calvin for a couple of years, but it seemed like much longer. He knew how to keep a garden and was patient to try and teach me. He touched many families over the past 30+ years in his work and left a wonderful legacy on Breedlove Mountain. He will be missed.
