BRYSON CITY……………..DATELINE
RONALD H. BUMGARNER, 66, of Lower Alarka, went home to be with The Lord, Wednesday March 23, 2011 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Haywood County, he had lived in Swain County most of his life. He was the son of the late Willie and Louise Greene Bumgarner. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by 2 Children-
Becky Bumgarner of Bryson City
Robbie Bumgarner and his wife Hilary of Bryson City
1 Grandson- Dallas Bumgarner
2 Brothers- William Bumgarner of Charleston, SC
Charles Bumgarner of Bryson City
1 Sister- Kathy B. Sluder of Charlotte
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday March 26, 2011, in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs Earl King and Mickey Stewart will officiate with burial in the Bumgarner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Funeral Home
