Bryson City Dateline: Everett Miller Brock, 75, of Pageland, SC passed away Saturday February 5th, 2011 in Mountain View Manor Nursing Home. A native of Pageland, SC, he was the son of the late Frank and Sally Pierce Brock. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pageland, SC. He was a Jeweler and a retired Lumber Grader for Georgia Pacific. He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Fosse and husband Mike of Kennesaw, GA, Kelly Johnson and husband Mike of Bryson City, and Kristi Brock of Bryson City; one son, Kayce Brock and wife Shan of Robbinsville, NC; two sisters, Myrtle Bost of Kannapolis, NC, and Martha Bishop of Summerville, SC; three brothers Billy Brock of Pageland, SC, Alvin Brock of Nevada, and Wayne Brock of Lancaster, SC; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Sutton Funeral Home in Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Mountain View Manor Nursing Home PO Box 2344 Bryson City, NC 28713. Crisp Funeral Home is in Charge of the local arrangements.
