Pauline Hyde Holder, 83, formerly of the Stecoah Community in Graham County went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 23, 2011 in a Gaston County Hospital. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Laughty and Nola Davis Hyde and wife of the late G.L. Holder. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Diana Letterman, Judy Holder, and one son, David Holder.
She is survived by one son, Marvin Holder and wife Debra of Gastonia; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Stecoah Baptist Church. Rev. G.D. Phillips will officiate with burial in the Jenkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
