Bryson City Dateline William "Bill" Clark, 80, went home to be with the Lord December 28, 2010. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Laura (Estes) Clark. He worked in commercial construction most of his life and loved the outdoors, especially camping with his horses. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean (Hyde) Clark; two sons, William Michael Clark of Buckley, WA, Rick Clark of Bryson City; one daughter, Laura Landtiser of LaPine, OR; six grandchildren, Christopher Duncan, Bryon Duncan, Jessica Hoylman, Samantha Clark, Nicole Clark, Lisa Clark; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil Clark of Bryson City, G.D. Clark of Asheville; one sister, Etta Maney of Bryson City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate with burial in Thomas Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. "GO BIG OR GO HOME"
