Obituary of Linda Lollis Ollis

Linda Lollis Ollis, 64, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 16, 2011 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Minnie Ball Lollis. She retired with Duke Power Company with over 27 years of employment. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Linda was a loving and devoted wife for 39 years. She is survived by her husband, David H. Ollis; one sister, Shirley A. Lollis of Bryson City; and her two yellow Labs, Rocky and Rambo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Mike Cogdill and Danny Sweet will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Barry Coggins, David Rowland, Mike Gibson, Terry Cooper, James Bowers, Jeff Bowers, and John Smith.
