Obituary of Randy Curtis Estep

Randy C. Estep, 56, of the Brush Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Friday October 31, 2014 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Grady and Blanche Cook Estep. He loved farming and loved working with his horses. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sheila Estep, brother Harold Estep, and nephew Ronnie Estep Jr. He is survived by his wife Sandra Estep; one daughter, Amy Robertson and husband Heath of Sylva; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Lily Robertson; one sister, Wanda Cloer and husband Mike of Bryson City; one brother, Ronnie Estep and wife Carolyn of Bryson City, two nieces Melissa Vaughn, and Michelle DeHart; two nephews, Jason Cloer and Mark Estep; six great nephews; and two great nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Brush Creek Baptist Church of which he was a member. Revs. Jim Cochran, Tim Barker, Bobby Cloer, and Ronnie Owen will officiate with burial in the Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Crisp Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
