Sam and Brenda Crisp posted a condolence

Bro. Ralph Clay and Dorothy have been wonderful friends of Sam and Brenda Crisp for over 40 years. We were blessed to pastor churches in close proximity on two occasions and I always knew him to be an upright man who kept his priorities aligned with God's word in all things. One could never doubt that Ralph's love for Dorothy and the girls came from the deepest part of his being. I especially appreciated Ralph's straight forward and honest communication in circumstances where lesser men may have been prone to compromise. The Clay family has always demonstrated genuine love and friendship to the Crisp's that will never be forgotten.
In the words of Saint Paul, "I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13 CEV)

Cousin Dorothy and family. You have our deepest sympathy. We will never forget Ralph. We remember the first time we met him,I said you have to be Cousin in law Ralph. He laughed and said yes,I guess I am. He was a good sweet man and had a good sense of humor and he made us laugh. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dorothy, I am sorry to read of the loss of your husband. Please accept my deepest condolences. Although there is little that one can say or do to take away all of your pain, may it help in some small way, knowing that you and you family are in the thoughts and prayers of many. Take solace in all of your many beautiful memories of Ralph and most of all the God of all comfort. 2 Cor. 1:3,4
