Obituary of Muriel Eva Simonds

Muriel Eva Simonds, born in Rockport, ME, a lifelong homemaker and wife of 60 years to the late Clyde W. Simonds entered into eternal rest on the 23rd of September 2014 at the age of 88 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margeret Dow and Earl Young; two sisters; one brother; and many brothers and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine M. Weidenhof and husband John Weidenhof of Cornwall NY, Bertha Ruth Zollinger and husband Joe Zollinger of Bryson City; four grandchildren, Bryan W. Zollinger and wife Sherry Zollinger, John D. Weidenhof, Joe Benjamin Zollinger, and Christine Ulery and husband James Ulery; nine great grandchildren, Benjamin and wife Carley Zollinger, Nickolas Zollinger, Brandyn Zollinger, Daniel Zollinger, Abby Zollinger, Christi Zollinger, Bryanna Zollinger, and Camden Ulery; and one great great grandson, Roman Zollinger. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
