Obituary of Nora Belle Greene

Nora Belle Gunter Green 97, of the Alarka Community and widow of Joseph Green died Tuesday September 16th at Swain County Hospital in Bryson City. She was the oldest of eight children of Frank and Amanda Gunter. Surviving family members include a sister, Donna Bowers, daughter Cheryl Green Harbin and son-in-law Oscar Harbin of Saluda; and daughter Dee Green of Alarka, grandson Dean Duncan and wife Stephanie of Marshal, and granddaughter Emily Harbin of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be at Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City on Sunday the 21st from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday at Locust Field Baptist Church in Dillsboro, NC with burial in the Church Cemetery.
