Charles Lewis (C.L.) Franklin, 72, of Bryson City, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Bryson City, he was the son of the late John Benjamin and Frankie Paralee Styles Franklin.
He is survived by his loving family including his wife Louise Franklin; two children Gregg Franklin and Angelia Franklin; three granddaughters, Renee Grant, Alyssa Gibby and Emily Franklin; a daughter-in-law April Franklin;2 great grandkids Bryce and Kaylee Grant; three sisters; one brother and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. David Watkins will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
