Marilyn Jenkins Sheehan, age 63, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 in a Jackson County health care facility. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl Nations Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Bruce Sheehan; and a grandson, Ryan Jones, son of Chris and Janet Jones; and a very special dog, Sparky Sheehan. God sends love in many ways and I loved him with all my heart.
She is survived by a son, Chris Jones and wife Janet of Bryson City; granddaughter, Natalie Jones who I love with all my heart; three brothers, Buddy Jenkins and family of Bryson City, Dillard Ledford and wife Helen and family of Morganton, Bobby Jenkins and wife Diane and family; and sister, Marian Huskins and husband Frances of Easley, SC.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Marty Pressley and Eddie Stillwell will officiate with burial in the Bryson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
