Harold D. (Bull) Sitton, 76, of Jordon Rd., fell asleep in death, Friday, October 15th, 2010 at his residence. A native of Swain County he was the son of the late Odis and Edna Brown Sitton. Harold was a veteran of the US Army. He worked over 40 years in Tunnel Construction. He was of the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Camby and brother, Tommy Sitton.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sherrill Sitton: one step daughter, Sonja (Dink) McCoy of Cherokee: two step grandchildren, Will and Ashley McCoy: three step great grandchildren, Landon, Kooper, and Spencer all of who he truly adored: two sisters, Pat Biggs of Bryson City and Carolyn Rowland of Asheville: two brothers, Cecil Sitton of Greensboro, and Kenneth Sitton of Bryson City, and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Barker will officiate with burial in the Holly Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
